Another she-cat slipped up to the window, and hopped down into the room. "Is that you?"

"You're our father." The first cat told him. "My name is Squirrelflight."

"I'm Leafpool." The second cat said. "Do you remember Sandstorm? She died the other day, and told us to find you."

"Sandstorm?" Firestar's eyes softened. "She died?" He whispered.

"Yes." Squirrelflight said, and a tear welled up in her eye.

Leafpool wiped it away with a flick of her tail. "Now you must come back. It was her dying wish for you to bury her body. Unless you've turned to Two-legs..."

"No." Firestar gasped. "I have to come with you. You're the last kin I have. The last memory of Sandstorm."

Mischief tilted her head at Firestar. "You had a mate before?"

He nodded, not taking his eyes off Leafpool. "You look just like her." He said to Leafpool.

Addison pulled him down to the couch so he was sitting next to her.

"To bury Sandstorm."

Squirrelflight hissed. "You kittypets stay away from my father. He has no buisness with you." And then she took off, out the window, after her father and sister.

Mischief sighed, and didn't give any thought to what Squirrelflight had said.

Scourge crept up to the window, and leaped out. He couldn't leave his buddy behind.

Firestar followed his kin, finally scenting the sweet scent of his old mate.

Gruello twitched a bit but didn't move.

He followed Firestar's scent into the forest.

A tear dripped onto Sandstorm, and Firestar put the dirt on top of his love.

Mischief and Gruello waited.

Squirrelflight mourned with her father.

Leafpool cried with them.

Still the she-cats waited.

Firestar couldn't bear to lose his daughters now.

Addison thought for a second. Then moved in slowly to his lap she began kissing his lips firceley. Addison was still in her robe.
