The Healing Cat

He nodded. "Yes."

"Okay. Now what did you normally do with Momma?"

Micheal tried to get to her underbelly so he could nurse.

She let him, worried that her milk may not have come.

Micheal squeaked as he was able to nurse.

She relaxed as he nursed.

Once he finished, he curled up to sleep.

She smiled and slept beside him.

Micheal purred in his sleep.

Seralee woke up and made some shelter for them, not wanting anyone to hurt this kit.

Micheal's paw twitched a little in sleep.

She rested her muzzle on him and slept.

During the night, a small orange and black tom caught the scent of two cats-a mother and her kit. Smiling, he thought this would be a good time to earn himself a girl.

(Oooh....who is it?)

Seralee woke up again.

[his name's Blackie]
Blackie crept up to the shelter, keeping quiet as possible.

Seralee scented another cat. She stepped out of the shelter.

Blackie stayed completley still. He moved behind the shelter.

She scented the air. The cat was nearby.

Blackie squeezed in where Micheal was sleeping and unseathed his claws.

She turned around and pounced on the cat.

He yowled in surprise and lashed out at Seralee.

Seralee dodged his blows and stood in front of Michael. "What are you doing here?" She hissed, tail lashing out in anger.

He didn't reply, only ran off.

Seralee made Michael stay and ran after the cat.

Blackie ran up a tree and into the bushes.
